Docking facilities are vital amenities and an investment for the homeowner. We understand protecting your investment is a key issue. Marine construction needs to be taken seriously. At Craigen Marine Contractors, each dock is evaluated and designed for the particular area and use, then constructed to meet these demands insuring our clients a low maintenance, economical and professional quality dock.​

How does our work outshine the competition? For starters, we listen. We listen to what you want and how you are going to be utilizing your waterfront property. Then it's off to the drawing board and work on the design until it's perfect to you. After site evaluation, construction begins. We use only new, high quality materials. All our docks are set on galvanized pipe driven to refusal. We NEVER use drill pipe that has been discarded from the oil field. After all there is a reason oil companies have pulled them out of operation. Heavy duty steel frames, beefy steel posts and trusses, and commercial grade sheet metal give you a long lasting asset and years of family entertainment.

Prior to construction, we work closely with LCRA and other governing agencies to ensure all of our projects not only meet, but exceed any requirements or recommendations as set by these authorities. Our staff handles all paperwork, correspondence, inspection requests, and other permitting requirements. We keep our clients informed throughout the process with up to date information and job status details. We stand by our clients not only through the build but more importantly we're here long after the paint has dried and the fun begins.

In all quality projects, safety is one of the top priorities. Our attention is focused on the well being of each user of the dock and watercraft it accommodates. We constantly analyze and incorporate redundant safety features in each dock we build. Fold down cleats, meticulously placed protective cushions, bumpering, interior bracing and swim ladder placement are just a few of hundreds of possible safety hazards that are addressed in each of our marine projects.

We have been in the boat dock business since 1982 and servicing the Lake LBJ and Inks area since 2007.
